your job, everything- and spend 24/7/365 with your mother until either she is fully healed or she dies. My mother says international law demands it. Healing your mother is also your personal responsibility, not doctors, nurses, or anyone associated with the medical profession. This means that from the first day of your very first job, you must save as much of your income as you can, because once your mother is sick, you might never have income again, if you’re very unlucky.

In my mother’s opinion, nursing homes and elder care facilities are like animal shelters. It’s where you send people you don’t want anymore.

My mother also says that, considering the above, and assuming you don’t live with your mother, international law requires that where you live must be near where your mother lives (for the sake of argument, let’s say within two hours by car). Your workplace must also be within two hours of where your mother lives. This obviously means that if your mother ever moves at least two hours away from you (or your employer), you must also move to keep yourself within two hours of your mother and your employer. However, that move would also require you to move if your mother’s new home is more than a couple of hours away. You would then have to change jobs to maintain that two-hour time difference between your mother’s new home, you, and your job. This suggests that employers should ask job applicants where their mother lives so they can ensure both the employee and the employee’s mother live within two hours of the work location. This would help ensure the employer doesn’t get dragged into a situation where an employee’s international law violations are revealed, which could ruin the employer’s reputation.

In any case, my mother claims that if you don’t believe everything above is true, then you’re not human.

On a side note, my mother also claims that international law requires all men at least 35 years old and all women at least 30 years old to be married at least once. This would help ensure the planet doesn’t run out of humans if deaths outpace births for too long.
